Francesca Evans

Francesca was born in London, UK.  Her father was a photographer and artist who loved to travel and this is where Francesca gets her artistic side from and her love of adventure .
Having studied acting in London, she worked in Brussels for a while and became interested in singing in folk clubs and there she learned to play acoustic guitar.
At the age of twenty-one she lived with her husband in Saudi Arabia for four years, supporting him in his work as a banker and where she played many acting roles ranging from Noel Coward's Private Lives to the musical Cabaret. While in Saudi Arabia, her two daughters Lauren and Carina were born. She was and is an avid tennis and golf player.
On their return to the UK, she set up an interior design business as well as continuing in many varying acting roles on stage. Her design work has been featured in many Lifestyle magazines, such as House and Garden, Phoenix Homes and Garden, and Beautiful Homes.
Francesca's charity work is extremely important to her and for seven years she was Chair of Save the Children in London.
One day a few years ago, she found her old dusty guitar in the loft and started tentatively to strum the songs she remembered from her folk club days and fell in love with the music all over again. Her first CD was a major undertaking as it was a double CD with 34 tracks, followed by her second cd ‘Loose Ends’ – the title track getting to within the top 100 of digital downloads in Europe.  Francesca doesn't DO 'easy'.
Francesca is  now promoting her latest CD  'Right to the Heart' which made its debut  in March 2014 consisting of sixteen new tracks (fourteen of which Francesca wrote and recorded in London ).  She will be touring again with her new band from the Fall of 2014.
